In my life, technology is a distraction because I did not grow up being around it constantly. Technology will often distract me, and I’ll be unable to concentrate on what is in front of me. However, in “today’s world” children can be around technology and retain the same amount of information as a child who isn’t around technology. I believe that this is very fascinating, and I wish I had the ability to not let technology distract me. Children today take technology and use it to their advantage. I believe that schools and teachers should use this “power” the best that they can in the classroom. In future years, the world will run on technology and this generation will be able to survive in that world. Why would we want to limit their futures? I believe we should not see technology as a distraction but as a unique power that these children have.
